Bynocs therapy for lazy eye.
Bynocs is a dichoptic training programme: your child plays contrast-adjusted games with both eyes open, which trains the weaker eye to work with the stronger one. Sessions usually last 30–40 minutes, at least five times a week. Compared with patching alone, it improves compliance, builds depth perception (stereopsis), and may also help some adults with amblyopia.

When should my child first see an eye doctor?
Any concern from a parent is reason enough. A routine eye check is worthwhile even when nothing seems wrong.
Can lazy eye be treated?
Yes, and it responds best when treated early with glasses, patching or penalisation and orthoptic support. Dichoptic therapy extends treatment options for older children and some adults.
How does Bynocs therapy work?
The games show different contrast to each eye, reducing suppression of the weaker eye. Improvement often starts within about two weeks, with good results by six to eight weeks in suitable children.
Does squint go away on its own?
No. A turning eye should be checked early, since treatment works best in childhood.
