What we collect
When you request an appointment through this website we collect your name, mobile number, and optionally your email address, gender, preferred date and time, the treatment you are enquiring about, and anything you choose to write in the message field.
When you visit the hospital we collect the clinical information necessary to treat you — history, examination findings, test results and imaging. This is held as part of your medical record.
Why we collect it
- To contact you and confirm your appointment
- To create and maintain your patient record so your care is continuous across visits
- To process insurance pre-authorisation and claims where you ask us to
- To meet the record-keeping obligations placed on a medical establishment
Where your appointment request goes
Appointment details submitted through this site are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our hospital management system so that our care desk can act on them. They are not sent to advertising networks, data brokers or third-party marketing tools.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is necessary for your care or required of us: with the clinicians treating you, with your insurer or TPA when you are making a claim, with a laboratory or referral centre when your treatment requires it, and with authorities where the law obliges us.
We do not sell your personal or medical information. We do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Medical records are retained for the period required by applicable Indian medical record-keeping regulations. Appointment enquiries that do not result in a visit are kept only as long as needed to follow them up.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may cache pages and images to make the site load faster, which you can clear at any time from your browser settings.
Your choices
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or withdraw consent for non-essential contact. Write to eyon.eyecare@gmail.com or speak to the front desk.
Requests relating to your medical record may require you to verify your identity in person, for your own protection.
Security
Access to patient records is restricted to authorised staff. Data submitted through this website travels over an encrypted connection. No system is perfect, but we take the confidentiality of medical information seriously and treat any lapse as a serious matter.
