Is eyelid surgery purely cosmetic?
No. Many procedures restore vision blocked by drooping lids, or treat watering, irritation and lid malposition.
What is recovery like?
Cool compresses and rest for the first few days, with heavy lifting deferred for roughly one to two weeks. Stitches, where used, usually come out within two weeks.
